An iconic reflection of late sixties American design aesthetics, the Freya Collection is inspired by Sharon Tate's character in the 1968 film 'The Wrecking Crew' starring Dean Martin, Elke Sommer and Sharon Tate.
Sharon played 'Freya' in the film and Elke played 'Linke' so Renauld have recreated two new models inspired by these characters. The film was once again featured in Quentin Tarantino's film 'Once upon a time in Hollywood' in 2019.
The 2024 Freya frame is plated in 24ct gold and equipped with optically perfect, glare-proof UV400 performance bronze lenses made by Divel Italia. The Linke is plated in Palladium and comes with Divel grey lenses.
In the Spring of 2024, the Freya and Linka collection will become available again for the first time in 56 years. The relaunch will comprise of 50 individually-numbered Freya and Linke frames, handcrafted in Italy. You can reserve your pair today and delivery is set for June 2024 in time for Summer.
